Zai Jian Didi.

After coming back from SFCV, I realized how much Joseph and I became so close though:
-Pinky promising I would come over to his house.
-Walking him to his house after every lunch
-Washing and feeding the dogs
-Playing outside
-Making goofy videos
-Being able to share with him that he needs to pray for a family
-Holding hands as we went outside SFCV for a couple of dinner outings
-Spoiling him my last night by having him come to BBQ and DQ.

All I can say is that he literally is my brother. I will never forget the time when I was talking to Philip about having just one brother. Joseph immediatly corrected me by shouting:
"No, you have two brothers! I am your brother too!"

As I close this blog for good, I just want to take this opportunity in thanking you all for your prayers and support financially in helping Joseph find his forever family! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
Without you, the family would not have been able to continue on with the adoption!

Most importantly though, I want to thank God for allowing Joseph to have a family. God was the one who heard Joseph's desperate cry of desiring to have that bond of a family. I'm just so thankful that the Lord answered it!

Before I leave, please continue to pray for Joseph. He is still grieving over not having his best friend Philip around and still is not having hope that he will have a forever family.
Also, the family is still in need of support financially for not only adopting Joseph but also adopting their other son Eli. If you are willing to help this family, please check out:

Well Joseph, you have a family. You have a mom who is prepared to smoother you with hugs and kisses, you have a dad who keeps your picture in his phone and shows it off to everyone he sees, and you have siblings who can't wait to see how awesome you truly are.
I am so happy for you Joseph and can't wait to see you again!

Joseph and his pin

A couple of days ago at SFCV, we had a huge team who came to visit just for the morning. One of the ladies on the team asked me politely: "Can we give the kids pins?" Without even thinking about it, I told her yes and so she gave one to Joseph and Seth.
When I was about to walk Joseph home from lunch, I saw that his pin was an United States and Texas flag.

Joseph's forever family is from Texas!!!!

I immediately told him he needed to place the pin in a safe place and to not lose it! What I didn't realize was that he would want to wear it all the time.
So now Joseph has been wearing this pin on his shirt everyday. I love seeing it because it is a reminder of his family back in Texas. He does not know this right now but he will hopefully understand that his forever family was with him way before Gotcha day. :)

If you would like to know more about Joseph's family and to help support them in their adoption, please see the link:  http://adventure4eli.blogspot.com/

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Keep praying for a quick PA!! :)
